The commute is a little easier for employees and patients heading to the Kingshighway medical center campus. After more than a year of phased construction activity, the improved I-64 interchange at Tower Grove and Boyle avenues opened Aug. 29.
Parkview Place at Kingshighway is closed for approximately two years during construction of the new Barnes-Jewish Hospital north campus inpatient building and the St. Louis Children's Hospital expansion.
From July 21 until Nov. 9, McKinley Avenue between Taylor Avenue and the Olin Circle will be closed to pedestrians, vehicles and shuttle bus traffic.
The westbound Boyle Avenue off-ramp from 40/I64 will be closed through July Motorists should use Forest Park Avenue or North Grand Blvd. to minimize congestion on the Kingshighway/I64-40 interchange.
